she judges me more than anyone else i know.
but to my right are four bouquets of flowers.
to my left the fruit tart my mother bought me for my birthday.
upon my bed lay two birthday cards from family that is distant in location not relation.
i wrap myself in the gift of another and hang a personal calendar.
my twin listened to my rants and made me feel comfortable.
i sat on a pathway and watched as other's took joy in a version of a simple game.
seeing people i have not seen.
talking to people even when i do not want to talk about it.
the man at rite aid gave me seven film canisters.
i want a hand dark room for my bed side table.
shannon rose from her bed to see me at midnight.
my luke met my charles and my charles met my luke.
clad fully in zebra clothing i skipped down the street.
linked to my arm was a boy in a zebra print snuggie, wearing it proud.
i returned home at 12:30 with no objection from my parents.
my date offers to help me with my stress load.
so many bad things happened today.
but i worked so hard to ignore them and focus on the good it's difficult to remember them now.
today was a good day.
today was a long day.
today was my day.
today was your day.
so many good things i try to never forget.
do not forget me.
try to grow back what you have lost.
