"i hope we die simultaneously"

i just watched a movie that is the equivalent of a love child between pulp fiction, rocky horror picture show, and bill and ted's excellent adventure.
and i made a decision. had an epiphany.
also that skull lighter was cool.

ive heard people say "he died for the flag". when does it cross through your mind to think of that flag. would it be an honor to die on that flag. they lay you down and slice you sideways till sunday. oh to die on the flag. a flag of freedom flying low. oh to die on the flag of absent faith.
